Slipping and sliding
Over rocks so beautiful
Shining and gleaming.
We watched it go by
Sipping our pink lemonade
Talking and laughing.
We slipped off our shoes
Waded into the water
And splashed in that stream.
COMMENTS:
For those of you who don’t know, a Haiku is a Japanese (I think?) poem in which each stanza’s lines have a certain pattern of syllables, which is 5, 7, 5. So the first line has 5 syllabes, second has 7, and last has 5 again.
